Lord Shiva Hindu Temple celebrated the 8th Grand Dussehra Mela Event, the celebration of the traditional festival of Dussehra that remarks, ‘Truth is Always Victorious Over Evil’ and is popularly celebrated in India.
This is a unique traditional event which feel likes of Indian Mela (social gathering) every year for the people in The Netherlands comprising main highlights as of distinct variety of food stalls of Indian cuisines, authentic Ravan Dahan, special rides for the entertainment of kids and the fun unlimited musical evening with live orchestra to explore!
There were special arrangements for entertainment along with vast variety of Indian food stalls/beverages at the event place and live orchestra programme with cultural dance performances to be performed by professional and renowned artists leading to a complete entertainment evening and also be special arrangements for kids.
The programme started at 3:00 pm which followed various events and was followed by mesmerizing fireworks show before the ‘Ravan Dahan’ (burning of demon effigies) .
Ambassador of India to the Netherlands, Pradeep Kumar Rawat and Mrs Shruti Rawat had flamed the statute of Ravana.
It is specially conceptualized to add the flavor of joy and festivity to the occasion.
