YouTube has terminated Sansad TV’s tube channel, which broadcasts live proceedings of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha as well as several documented programmes. The channel was suspended for allegedly violating YouTube’s Community Guidelines. Around 8:00 am to 10:00 am, the Youtube account of the channel showed an ‘404 error,’ with a text message of “this page isn’t available. Sorry about that. Try searching for something else.”
However, the reason behind the sudden suspension of the account is not clear, a message has been sent to Google.
According to YouTube, reasons why a channel or accounts can get terminated are mentioned in ‘YouTube Terms of Service’ opened by tapping, Settings – about – Youtube Terms of service. Abusive content, spam and deceptive practices, self-injury, pornography, hate speech, harassment, or impersonation among others are the reasons for which YouTube suspends an account.
