President Kovind to visit Turkmenistan, Netherlands from April 1-7

At the invitation of His Majesty the King, the President of the Republic of India, Ram Nath Kovind, will be paying a state visit to the Netherlands from Tuesday 5 April to Thursday 7 April 2022. He will be accompanied by his wife, Savita Kovind.

In 2019 the King and Queen Máxima paid a state visit to India. The Indian president’s upcoming trip to the Netherlands reaffirms the strong bilateral ties between the Netherlands and India. The visit will be a highlight of this year’s commemoration of 75 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
While the government is mindful of the current security situation in Europe, it nevertheless feels it is important, particularly at a time like this, for our two countries to have a broad dialogue at the highest level about the major challenges facing the world.
