Nagpur: Delhi chief minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday ruled out of having any possible alliance with political parties for 2024.
Kejriwal further said the only alliance AAP will have is with 130 crore Indians and not with any political party. The AAP chief was speaking at an event in Nagpur and said that he doesn’t understand the concept of multi-party alliance and is not interested in any tie-ups.
Newly-elected Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann was also present during the event. While addressing the event, Kejriwal said, “I don’t know how to do politics and I don’t understand their alliance of 10 or more parties and an alliance being formed to defeat someone.” He added that he doesn’t want to defeat anyone and wants India to win.
Kejriwal said the party’s focus was not on the 2024 Lok Sabha polls but working for the country. ndia must become the number one country in the world as soon as possible, Mr. Kejriwal said, adding that he wanted to play an important role in this quest.
