The Hague, Netherlands
Embassy Festival is an international event spotlighting the many different cultures that reside in The Hague. Festival-goers can soak up a truly innovative and transactional programme presenting music, activities, art, theatre, culinary delights, debates and readings on The Hague Lange Voorhout.
Organized in the close cooperation with the Municipality of the Hague’s Department’s of International affairs and the Hague’s many embassies. The Embassy Festival promises to surprise and appeal to all senses.
The musical programme will offer a mix of different music style such as jazz, pop, soul, folk and classical music and with a small group of embassies providing all the food, drinks and entertainment for their countries directly to your table.
Some embassies have their walking vendors that will pass your table with some goodies and other embassies have arranged the entertainment for the evening. Singing, dancing, and music will be moving in between the tables and interacting with you.
Embassies will be present on the Lange Voorhout to demonstrate unique aspects of their country, while various countries and regions will present themselves on the festival terrain through characteristic features and products unique to that country.
