MS Dhoni-backed drone firm Garuda Aerospace launches farmers-focused film

Former India cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni-backed drone maker Garuda Aerospace has launched its first-ever film, ‘Kheton Ke Kaptan,’ aimed at encouraging youth and farmers to lead in their respective farms.

The film ‘Kheton Ke Kaptan,’ created by Garuda Aerospace and co-produced with Dhoni Entertainment Private Limited, depicts the needs of farmers in their daily lives and how Garuda drones can help farmers with pesticide spraying, surveillance, and mapping while saving water and time.

Cricketer MS Dhoni is an ambassador-turned-investor in the low-cost drone manufacturer.

In addition to drone training, youth and farmers will receive subsidies and loans to purchase drones.

“The brand film KhetonKeKaptan shows how farmers can improve their quality of life and farming by using Garuda Kisan Drones,” Jayaprakash explained.

Notably, Garuda Aerospace is the first drone company to have received dual DGCA approvals for both drone manufacturing type certificate and RTPO.

With the Drone-As-A-Software aggregator, the company has already made a significant impact on the drone industry since its inception in 2015.
