In Hanuman Nagar, the noisiest places (which recorded over 80db) were Raghuji Nagar, Bhagwan Nagar, Rameshwari and Manewada. In Nehru nagar, Nandanvan, Ramna Murti, Narsala and Dighori were the main areas contributing to the noisiest lots list.

Nagpur district administration had allowed bursting of crackers only for two hours, from 8pm to 10pm, keeping in mind the increasing noise and air pollution in the district. Ahead of Diwali, the Supreme Court had prohibited manufacture, use, sale and purchase of firecrackers, except for green crackers.

Lokhande thanked the citizens of Nagpur for their active participation in the drive and making it a success. The Covid-19 cases in the district had subsidised which resulted in celebrations at large scale across the city.
