Nagpur: In the latest, Shiv Sena MLA Santosh Bangar on Tuesday attacked Union minister Narayan Rane saying that he is a “dog” kept by the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) to attack others but would bite back his own party.

Bangar represents the Kalamnuri assembly constituency in Hingoli district in Maharashtra. Bangar also said that the union minister is a dog of “pug” breed.

“Narayan Rane is not a human being, he is a dog. He is an offspring of a pug dog. He was rejected by the people of Konkan and Mumbai.

Now ”Beimaan Janata Party” (referring to the Bharatiya Janata Party) has domesticated this dog to attack others. But I want to tell the BJP that it should beware of this dog as it will bite you…He could never belong to anyone, so how can he be yours?” Bangar alleged.

Rane was arrested by the Maharashtra police in Ratnagiri on Tuesday and was granted bail on the very same day, just a few hours after his arrest.

The minister was sent behind the bars for his “slap Uddhav” statement. Maharashtra police had earlier demanded a seven-day remand of Rane in the court but was granted bail.

Soon after the bail, Rane had tweeted ‘Satyamev Jayate.’
